Shiskine is a self catering holiday apartment in the small and quiet crofting community of Aultgrishan, 8 miles north of Gairloch, right on the coast, with stunning views over The Minch to the Isle of Skye, The Shiant Isles, and the Isles of Harris and Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. There is access to the sandy beach just behind the house.

The apartment will provide you with a little bit of luxury for your stay. The two ensuite bedrooms are furnished with handmade rustic furniture made from reclaimed wood and include king size beds and luxury white egyptian cotton bedding. Each room also has a Freeview HD TV. Each ensuite is tiled, with white WC, handbasin, heated towel rail and shower.

Wide variety of walks, local attractions/activities. Great range of dvds for those wet days. Very clean, modern & comfortable accomdation with helpful & friendly hosts.

About the neighbourhood
Shiskine is situated in the small crofting community of Aultgrishan, 8 miles north of Gairloch, on the Wester Ross coast. A beautiful drive from Gairloch along the spectacular coastline. From here you can look over The Minch to the Isle of Skye, The Shiant Isles, and the Isles of Harris and Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.
The village of Gairloch has restaurants with bars, convenience stores, churches, petrol station, doctors's surgery and many other facilities.

We are in a remote area of the Scottish Highlands and a car is essential.

Railway: Achnasheen: 60.0 km
Ferry: Ullapool: 85.0 km
You will need to take the road to Melvaig out of Gairloch – a scenic drive along the coastline. After about 3 miles you will pass the Sands campsite on your left. From here on the road is single track. After about another 5 miles you will pass the Aultgrishan sign at the side of the road. Follow the bend round, out of the trees,and Shiskine is on your left.
