Trust) and the The Long Mynd. Originally two 18th century cobblers cottages and now fully renovated as a large contemporary space, featuring open plan chef's kitchen, sitting area with log burner, large lounge with another log burner, plus three staircases and five superking (180cm wide) beds each with en-suite (see floor plans to appreciate flow of the property). Beautiful location. Everyone enjoyed wonderful hot tub. Good log burners with plenty of fuel. All beds comfy for a good nights sleep. Worked well having a bathroom for each bedroom. Just one shower room too small but better than having to share other facilities. Kitchen...More

Family group of 7 adults and 2 children. Brilliant house. Beds big and comfy. Plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen. Some of the ensuite bathrooms were a bit snug but fine for a week's stay. The hot tub was fab and got plenty of use!...More

About the neighbourhood
The cottage is located in the heart of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between All Stretton and Church Stretton and although it's alongside the B-road (30mph limit) it's elevated and set back (there are also hedges so the road can't be seen) affording a private outlook directly across open countryside to the impressive Caer Caradoc, The Lawley and valleys. The sense of privacy is immense and few other properties can even be seen. The town of Church Stretton is a level walk along the pavement and takes 10-12 minutes.
Getting around
From the train station you can travel to Ludlow, Shrewsbury or beyond. The A49 also runs through the town making most parts of Shropshire and Wales easily accessible.
