Lovely house, in easy walking distance of the centre of Kelso and a park which the kids loved. The house is really nicely decorated and has everything you need The housekeeper is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Was greeted by housekeeper Wendy on arrival, who gave us all info we needed. The house is in excellent position, a few mins from river walk, restaurants and town centre. Weather was good so we sat out on the front patio most days, it is totally private. Thru the back gate is supermarket for any essentials. Enjoyed meals out at...

Well behaved dogs are welcome although we stipulate that they must stay in the back courtyard and garden. For an extra charge a part time housekeeper can come into Claremont most days to generally tidy up and clean . She is also responsible for the laundry and replacing bedding and towels etc at changeover. Linen, towels etc. are all provided and beds are made up before arrival.

Kelso is located approximately 1 hours drive from Newcastle, Glasgow & Edinburgh in the heart of the Scottish Borders. It is also only 30 minutes by taxi from Berwick station on the main East Coast railine. There is also an excellent bus service between Berwick Railway Station and Kelso (no 67) which takes about 55 minutes. It is an ideal place to use as a base for exploring the Borders, the Berwickshire Coast and North Northumberland.
