Mungo's Well cottage has one bedroom with a 6' wide double bed which can be arranged as twin beds. There is heating throughout & log burner in living room. All of the rooms are on the same level, with level access from the large, private car park. Cars can approach close to the main entrance of Mungo's Well cottage for loading.

Friendly welcome, well sighted to explore the surrounding countryside, the cottage was cosy and warm with all you need for a comfortable stay.

Burnbrae is located in the heart of the Scottish Borders, 3 miles from the picturesque, abbey town of Kelso. Kelso is regarded as one of the most charming and beautiful towns in the Scottish Borders complete with cobbled streets, large market square, elegant Georgian buildings and of course the River Tweed and Teviot which are well known for their spectacular fishing. Kelso has many fantastic restaurants and a farmers market. The farmers market and musical events are held in the square.

The local area has many golf courses including Kelso, the Roxburgh and the Hiersel. The Kelso Race course is between Burnbrae and Kelso, near Floors Castle.

The Border Union Show Ground in Kelso has many different types of events. Kelso Civic Week is held in July each year.
