Apart from the views, this is no sterile holiday cottage with no soul... this is a home, with character, warmth, cupboards full, personal pictures....a home from home, in luxury!! Ideal as a romantic get away from it all for couples; or for two couples wanting a warm retreat; the cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms. The main bedroom is stylishly appointed with a king size double, and large picture windows overlooking the sea. Have breakfast in bed looking at the amazing view! The second bedroom is a light and bright double aspect twin room. There is a large lounge also overlooking the sea, with wood burning stove and comfy sofas and armchairs for relaxing. The brand new fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and underfloor heating has all modern conveniences and appliances to make your stay chore-free, whilst a newly fitted bathroom with large rainshower over the bath also has underfloor heating. The cottage also has a rear hall/ boot room/utility room, and a spacious entrance hall. As well as the wood burning stove, the cottage is warmed by oil fired central heating throughout plus the under floor heating in the kitchen and bathroom, so is suitable for all year round stays and cozy winter nights.  In the lounge you will find a satellite TV and DVD player, lots of books, games, and DVDs to keep you occupied. The cottage has free broadband internet so you can always stay connected! You will find suggestions for walks and things to do in the cottage, as well as ideas for where to eat if you don't feel like cooking. There is a garden to the front and side of the house and beyond at both front and rear of the cottage there are 6 acres of croft land to run about in! More

Fantastic cottage, perfect for getting away from it all. Cosy but luxurious cottage. Amazing views, especially the snow on the far mountains. Really helpful owners who managed any issues with genuine concern and promptly. Would defiantly go back here again.

The cottage is very isolated which is perfect if you are looking for peace and tranquility. We couldn't fault the cottage: spotlessly clean, very well-equipped and a fabulous shower! The only 'down-side' was the fact that the 'nearby' (one-hour walk) to the pub and the...More
