We stayed five nights at Llofft Allan. It was a perfect base for exploring Wales. The accommodation is superb; tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Jane is an excellent host - very friendly and helpful. If I was to suggest any improvements it would be to ask for a couple of mugs in the kitchen in addition to the tea cups...

The accommodation was very good apart from the noise level of the people below us, It was a good job the apartment below us was not used until Friday of that week as it would have been unbearable, it could have done with sound proofing. Also there were odours rising from the kitchen below 'garlic'. Also the games room which...

Since we converted Llofft Allan 25 years ago this is the first complaint we have received about the noise level and are naturally disappointed to hear that any of our guests are unhappy....

Found Ystumgwern through random internet search. Llofft Allan is perfectly sized for a couple and you really feel seculded, despite being on a farm and with other parts of the stables let out. Situated in the Snowdonia national Park Gwytheryn is only a mile walk down to Dyffryn Beach which was awarded the Green Coastline award for its clean beach environment and water. Within 2 miles there is a selection of shops and pubs. The mountains for roaming are just as close with numerous lakes and rivers close by.
