Converted from what used to be the gymnasium of the Old Tower House School with views over its own woodland area out to sea. Open plan living, high ceilings in the main room and Maple wooden floors throughout give the cottage a feeling of space; and as the property is elevated the majority of the windows offer breath-taking views across Cardigan Bay and the mountains of North Wales. About the neighbourhood
Barmouth is a traditional seaside town surrounded by the Snowdonia National Park. The town boasts a sandy Blue Flag beach which is perfect for families. A variety of shops, pubs and restaurants combined with the mild climate, make this an ideal destination for a holiday, even out of season. A walker's paradise... such as the Mawddach Way nearby which includes the beautiful Barmouth Bridge crossing... it has been said that there is 'no better walk than from Barmouth through to Dolgellau, other than from Dolgellau to Barmouth'. The views of the Snowdonia mountains sweeping down to the Mawddach estuary are phenomenal, an experience not to be missed.
