Don't want to say too much or else you will all stampede here and we won't get a look in! Best appointed cottage to date after thirty years self- catering. The owners had thought of everything. Crickhowell is the most friendly village with lots of amenities.8 miles from Abergavenny. We will be back!!!

Management response:

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review for Ramblers Rest Cottage - it's good to know we get some things right! We too, have been using self-catering cottages for over 30 years, so we hope we do know what people expect to find when staying in our cottage. See you again! Christina (0wner)

A lovely cosy cottage, with all you need for a stay in the Brecon Beacons. Great location for exploring the wonderful countryside and tackling some strenuous walks. Also a fantastic village for pubs, cafe's and shops, thoroughly recommended.

Management response:

Many thanks for your review, and good to know you all got into the walking - yes, some are strenuous, but that is what keeps us Crickhowell people fit and well!! Hope to see you again one day. Christina (owner)

The cottage is part of a street which is full of character and a few minutes walk from the centre of Crickhowell. The shops are excellent, particularly the TWO family butchers. There are some superb walks around the town to cater for all degrees of fitness and capability. And there some great pubs that do good food. We will return.

Management response:

Good afternoon. Just read your lovely review of Ramblers Rest Cottage. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this, and it sounds as if you really got to know our lovely little town! Hope to see you in Crickhowell again one day. Christina (owner)
