About the neighbourhood
County Durham is an amazing area to explore with boundless things to do and visit. Durham city is 15 minutes away by car, Newcastle city is 20 minutes away, the beautiful Northumberland countryside and coastline are only 40 minutes away. Then theres shopping at the Metrocentre, Newcastle, Royal Quays and Dalton Park to name a few. If you have young children we are only 10 minutes from some fantastic days out, Beamish Outdoor Museum, Hall Hill Farm, Diggerland, Mini Moos and many more.
Getting around
A car is advised to get the most out of the area, although there are plenty of taxis and a local bus that links with buses to Durham and Newcastle.
