Inside this pretty cottage, on the first floor, you will find the bedroom with a King Size bed and a separate large dressing room as well as a good size shower room with a newly fitted large modern shower.
Downstairs is a well-equipped kitchen with granite and oak worktops, dishwasher and vintage touches such as shelving made from old train shelf brackets.
There is also an open plan seating area with a large comfortable sofa, a dining table with stylish chairs and a wood burner.

From the sitting room, there are French doors leading onto a delightful, private sunny garden (garden furniture provided).
At the front of the cottage is a large private parking space, suitable for all sizes of vehicles.
Overall the cottage has been thoughtfully renovated with light and natural palettes of colour, quality furniture and objects of interest, for example, Norfolk historical agricultural tools.
As Butterflies is just for a couple, regretfully we do not take children or pets.

Excellent. A comfy and very well equipped cottage in a quiet village. A five minute walk to the local pub with good food. An easy mile walk to the coast at both Blakeney and Cley on Sea and a good base for visiting other parts of North Norfolk.

A perfect little oasis of peacefulness
A fantastic location in Norfolk for a lovely peaceful week. Slightly inland from Blakeney and Cley means this cottage is very peaceful but within walking distance of both spots. Cottage itself is simply immaculate, and was spotless. Beautifully presented with loads of thoughtful touches (maps in drawer etc), the peace and quiet were just perfect for a get-away for two. Well equipped with all mod cons we’d thoroughly recommend and would love to go back ourselves.

Perfect quiet Norfolk retreat for two
Butterflies is a beautiful little flint cottage a short drive from Holt and a 4 min walk from the Wiveton Bell Pub, perfectly located on the North Norfolk coast and all that it has to offer. It is very comfortable and Nicola has thought of lots of lovely little touches to make your stay special. We have stayed twice now and can thoroughly recommend it.

Superb cottage in quiet village
Butterflies is in the lovely quiet village of Wiveton, within walking distance of the villages of Blakeney and Cley next the Sea. There are also many coastal and country walks from the doorstep, including the Cley marshes, Wiveton Downs and the Glaven Valley. The pub - The Wiveton Bell - is a five minute walk away. Lots do see and do further afield too, but we spent most of our time in the local area. The cottage is beautifully laid out and provided with everything we could need. The quality of the furnishings, crockery and cutlery was way above the standard expected and the garden, though small, is delightful. Loved our week there.

Wonderful Butterflies
We had the most wonderful stay at Butterflies, couldn’t ask for anything more! The cottage was beautifully decorated and furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. It was spacious for 2 people with the extra dressing room. Chocolates and wine awaited us on arrival. If we come to North Norfolk again, we would definitely book this cottage. Thank you Nicola.

Perfect for two
Normally reviews contain the word but, like this one has now, but in the case of this cottage only a pedant could find fault. Everything in the cottage is excellent and works perfectly. There is a great pub 5 minutes walk away and others within half an hours stroll which all provide excellent food. We are frequent visitors to North Norfolk and would return to this cottage without hesitation. The only problem is when you get home your house looks rather 'tired' in comparison!

Wonderful cottage,
Immaculate, cosy and with all facilities you would require.
Excellent location
The lovely garden to sit in is wonderful bonus.

Fabulous cottage
What a fabulous stay at this gem of a cottage.
We were very inpressed with the thought and attention to detail in the decor and furnishings. The spacious rooms were a real bonus and the location was perfect with a excellent pub just up the road.
The hosts were great, we had everything we needed with lots of details of local events
We really enjoyed our weekend in this very lovely place. So much so we have already booked our next visit.

Haven of peace
We have visited North Norfolk before but came across this gorgeous little cottage for two just a short stroll from the Wiveton Bell and the perfect location for exploring the coastline. Every little detail had been thought of and it was all very clean and beautifully presented. Quiet too. Nicola was very receptive to our enquiries and on hand by phone if there were any difficulties. A perfect hideaway if you are in need of some restoration. Hoping to book again soon! Thank you.

Wonderful Cottage
Wonderful cottage, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and with everything you need. Probably the nicest cottage I have ever stayed in, and over the years that has been a lot. It is ideally located, 2 mile walk to the coast, and a 5 minute walk to the Wiveton Bell an excellent gastro pub.
I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough. Great place for two.
