Fantastic place to stay to explore Skye and surrounds. Very comfortable cosy cabins and our host Sue was very welcoming and eager to ensure we had the best stay possible. I would highly recommend the lodges to anyone travelling to the area.

Management response:

So glad that you enjoyed your stay. I hope the rest of your holiday is just as enjoyable too. Sue.

Great base for plockton, Skye and surrounding area. Lovely walks from the log cabin. Small childrens park on site. We spent 5 days in the log cabins and although it was October the cabin was very cosy and the weather largely dry, so spent most of he time outdoors. Plockton is just 1.5 miles and there are some lovely routes...

These are fabulous, a real log cabin (because of the reasonable price, I'd been expecting a wooden clad static caravan!!). Inside the lodge it was very well equipped and lots of things that in...

About the neighbourhood
The village of Plockton is washed with the warm waters of the Gulf Stream resulting in the distinctive palm trees that grow in the waterfront gardens of the village. The village itself is a mile and a half from the Lodges and has a number of excellent restaurants and pubs to relax in. You can also hire canoes and small boats and Plockton is the starting point for Calums Seal Trips - from which you will see seals and often otters, porpoises and dolphins. There is weekly traditional music in the Plockton Inn which attracts many local musicians and is usually a very good night!

We are only 4 miles from the Isle of Skye bridge crossing, or if you want a more romantic introduction to the island you can use the tiny 4 car ferry at the end of the beautiful drive over the Mam... more
