Long Bay beach drive is on the South shore of the island, facing east. Sunrises are spectacular. It is peaceful and quiet and only a handful of people walk the beach. It is mainly residential and uncrowded. The water is very shallow (3-4 feet deep), warm and bright turquoise. The bottom is safe and sandy, without any rocks or big breaking waves.

A car is required to visit the island, go to grocery stores, department stores, and restaurants, and discover hidden spots.
