I spent two weeks at the villa with my 15-year old daughter and her best friend. It is an excellent place to stay and gives you access to everything from Quepos to the Panamanian border. The villa is located at the Osa Mountain Village, about 7 km off the coastal highway between the two Ciudad Cortez exits. The road getting there is steep and rough so a 4x4 is necessary but the views along the way are gorgeous, as are the butterflies, birds and wildlife that you see as you climb up to 2,200 feet in altitude.
The villa has a fully furnished kitchen with pots, pans, dishes and tableware. we were able to cook breakfast and dinner most nights. The local BM grocery is a few km down the road in Palmar Norte and had everything we needed.
The beds were comfy, the AC was delightful, and the bathrooms were North American standard (you can flush the paper).
The door to the villa faces the rain forest and we were greeted by a pair of chestnut keeled toucans ever...
