The Isabella Lakehouse located at 325 Buena Vista, Kernville CA is a 1750 square foot home with 2 bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, dinning and living areas, wrap around deck, and a private patio with propane grill. It has a total of three queen beds; the third is located in a drop down sunroom area off of the living room. There is also the option of a single roll away bed if needed to accommodate your party.
Part of this Lakehouse was one of the original 'Old Kernville' homes that was relocated to its present location when the Damn was built to create Lake Isabella in the early 1950's.

This place is great, the owner is awesome she makes sure the place is to your liking. The brewery is a short walk away, this way you don't drink and drive. Although we do not currently charge a cleaning fee, sometimes a cleaning / damage fee will appy for the following reasons: cottage left unclean, kitchen or barbeque areas not left clean, excessive trash or damages.

About the neighbourhood
Our one and two bedroom cottages are located in the Heart of Kernville, CA a unique mountain town . Each cottage has its own character and history. Originally built to house employees constructing the Edison 'Powerhouse' in the 1950's the cottages are rich in history and culture of the area. With the construction of the Lake Isabella Damn our largest rental featured on the homepage of our website was moved from 'Old Kernville' to its existing location on James Hill. Each cottage has been renovated to suite our guests with the comforts of home such as complete kitchens, private patios, walkways, landscaping and propane grills.
