Mountain house with great views from a wraparound deck, a half-mile on a pleasant woods trail to downtown Main Street and connects with the Baldy Mountain Trail. Fully equipped kitchen on an open-plan main floor with common room, and a second TV room downstairs. Three bedrooms plus a top-quality pull-out sofa (real mattress!). Also a loft upstairs with an inflatable bed and a desk, and really great views. The deck is great and has furniture including a chiminea to make fires and enjoy the night skies year-round.

There's a long driveway that fits four vehicles, and especially in winter you do need a vehicle.

The house is better than the pictures show and the owner was wonderful to work with regarding all the different things to do. Our family of 6 (4 kids, ages 9-18) really enjoyed our stay at this home in Breckenridge. The house had all the necessities we needed. Great open kitchen that was fully equipped, hang out area for all of us to be together, and backyard view is amazing. Floor plan worked well for our older family with bunk beds in basement....

The house has a king and a queen in each of the two bedrooms upstairs. They share a bathroom. On the ground floor, which is a walk-out, there's another queen pull-out in a common room and a bunk with two singles in a third bedroom, and a full bathroom. The house is ideal for 6 people. Eight people is a squeeze, and that is a strict limit. I will consider pets on a very limited basis, and I require a Visa to hold against any damage. Cost of damage will include not only repair but rental loss if there is any.

Please note: Maximum of 8 people may stay in the house at any one time. There is NO SMOKING inside the house of anything, not tobacco, not marijuana, not salmon or beef. You're welcome to smoke outside but we kindly request that you gather any cigarette butts and throw them away. Thanks!

About the neighbourhood
We're about a half-mile from Main Street via a trail and about a mile via roads. Breckenridge Heights is arguably the best neighborhood in the area. It's private and quiet -- combination of fulltime residents and second-home owners -- with lots of trees and great views of the mountains. Access into town and the Peak 8 Gondola is quick and easy. We're close to golf and horseback riding, and there are lots of amazing trails, including one that starts from our backyard and goes deep into the mountains.
Getting around
There is a free public bus but the nearest stop is on Wellington and Royal Tiger. It's a downhill walk to get it, but uphill back, and it's only for the fit and not suitable if you're carrying groceries or equipment. You need a vehicle.

Airport: Denver: 161.0 km
From I-70 you'll exit onto Route 9 through Frisco into Breckenridge, where 9 becomes Main Street. Proceed to Wellington, and turn left (east; only turn you can make) until you reach Royal Tiger, turn right and proceed around the bend, left up Highpoint Drive, then right onto Moonstone Road. 0096 Moonstone is a few houses up on the righthand side.
