COLORADO Authentic log cabin located on our 5 acre ranch. Awesome views of the Rocky Mountains and beautiful sunsets. The cabin was re-modeled after being moved onto our property. It's tiny house nation but the shower easily accommodates a tall person and the porch is large and comfortable. The fireplace is the original stone work but has been converted to gas. An engineer and excavator lived in the cabin with his wife during the summers while constructing the famous Trail Ridge road, one of the highest drivable roads in Colorado, over the Continental Divide, which is only open from April to October, a must do if you come. Some of the crew stayed in a larger cabin as a bunk house and It's still in town on 17th/Gay, the original location. Some of the crew stayed in a larger cabin as a bunk house and It's still in town on 17th/Gay, the original location. Over the years the cabin on our property was used as a guest house for family and friends, now for you, our guests. Our mom always affectionately refered to it as her gold nugget. She was an artist and several of her pieces appropriately adorned the walls. There are now hanging elsewhere for safe keeping but if you catch one of us, we can show them to you. The cabin sits adjacent to the main house snuggled in a variety of trees. It's also nice to sit in front of the fireplace even in the summer, or enjoy the outdoors on the ample porch in comfortable chairs.

Cute and cozy
The cabin was perfect for me me and my son. It had everything we needed. It was centrally located for everywhere we planned to go. We will definitely keep this spot in mind for the future!

Could not have been better.
Very nice cozy cottage. The bathroom/shower is very narrow but we had no problem with that. Good water pressure and tasty water, must be from a well..Basically a one room suite/kitchenette..with amenities..lovely decorations, host was great. Dog friendly. There is no TV but we used host wifi (not the fastest) to watch TV on a laptop. Verizon service weak in this area. This is a very old (on the outside) authentic log cabin. Nicely remodeled and updated interior. Easy drive to RMNP, Estes, Boulder.. Longmont is a really nice small city or big town.

quaint, cozy cabin with amazing views of the "Rockies"
the location is great, it is on a quiet street and you have an amazing view of the "Rockies" and it is very close to hiking and biking trails, restaurants, breweries, and shops. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Surprise charmer!
With zero notice, we had a family emergency and Billie stepped up to the plate to accommodate us! As a result, a relative got to enjoy a week in this charming cabin. Though the circumstance dictating the trip were not positive, the stay TOTALLY was! The cabin afforded a peaceful escape from the world. No TV with 24 hr depressing news coverage, instead, pastoral scenes, a good chair for reading, a desk for journaling, lazy hours for napping, and a host who showed why small, family run businesses trump chains every time. Every. Single. Time. There is care evident in this cabin and all the touches surrounding it. There is also AC! 😂 A necessity in August. …And a gas fireplace adding to the coziness. …And effective wi-fi. Our relative is now gone but I daydream of stealing away to this hidden treasure, invisibly tucked into the middle of my town. You might get more room in the shower - and have an easier time finding it 😂 - at a Marriott, but you’ll not get a taste of history there (this cabin was built by the fellow who excavated Trail Ridge Road) and you certainly won’t encounter a compassionate host who reminds you of the goodness in this world. Stay here. Stay here. Stay here!

They thought of everything!
We had a great stay in this little cabin! Although small in size, was perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 pets. It was clean and very well equipped. (They literally thought of everything!) I would definitely stay again. The only “negative” is that it’s a little tough to find as the access is by the hosts’ house and not a separate entrance, but once we found it, we had easy access to what we wanted to do. The hosts let us have our privacy but were very friendly.

Quiet log cabin
Quiet log cabin in Longmont, CO. Close to nearby attractions. Host available if needed. Nicely furnished with full size Murphy bed. Well stocked kitchen. Host brought us radiant electric heater as nights were cool during our 3 night stay. Much appreciated. Hot showers wonderful on those cool mornings too. Would stay again. Right price for location and amenities.

Cozy Cabin, Great Location
This cabin was cozy and comfortable for our little family (2 adults, infant, and dog). It included air conditioning, a comfortable bed and pillows, a good shower, and a nice outdoor space. The location is nice because it is quiet but close enough to things you want to do. During our time there, it was easy to go to breweries and a Rockies game.

Cutest Cabin in Longmont
I loved it felt like it was in perfectly in between the Rockies and other areas of Colorado we wanted to visit for kayaking, fishing, etc. We rented equipment from Angles Sports Exchange close by (about 10 mins) and it’s 5 mins away from King Soopers! We cooked breakfast most mornings on their hot plate, made lunches for our adventures, and they had a grill if we needed it. It’s a small space but perfect for two (maybe even 3) and the owners decorated so sweetly the entire place. The Hosts were very kind…Will be back again! Definitely a place to check out on your trip to Colorado.

Darling cabin
Enjoyed our quick getaway here. Quaint cabin and super small bathroom. Rugs in the bathroom and under the bed created quirky conditions (bathroom door difficult to open fully and definitely a uneven mattress). Too bad the mosquitoes were so bad on the front porch, we had to stay inside. Overall super experience in a historic cabin.
