The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, pots and pans along with cooking and eating utensils. The water in this 'Little Dome', is from a well, the well water is approx. 98 degrees at the well, It is natural warm water from the geothermal in the area. I suggest you bring drinking water, although some drink it, it just is what it is. Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guests and pets are $10 more per night. Make sure you verify all before arrival. This is your home and others in the mountains, surprises are good but not the type that is to sneak one over on Jeff or the other guests on the property. Like you tell me one pet and got 5 , or one guest and I arrive to find a tent and a camper. Thank You,,All and Jeff If you bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best you inform Jeff immediately and /or use the drop box on the property located at Jeff's house. If you do not inform Jeff/use the drop box , you will be charged double when leave. This will come out of your damage deposit. That is $20 per night for each and not $10. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. (OR) you will lose your deposit. I am tired of people not the pets trying to get over on me and me letting it happen. It took two many years to fix these places up, never getting paid and now, I just wanted to be treated as I ask. Thank You Jeff and all honest guests! 'LEAVE AS FOUND OR BETTER' THIS IS YOUR HOME AND OTHERS' IN THE MOUNTAINS. No wood stove here a pellet stove ' I try to keep a bag of pellets at the Dome' also there is a gas stove and some electric heaters. Please turn all heaters off or to low when leave. I may not show-up before the next guest so I ask them how the previous guest left, Please respect all, enjoy. IT IS SUGGESTED YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING, Remember, this is your cabin and others in the mountains 'Cheers' Linens or sleeping bags and pillow cases Towels and dish cloths Toilet paper and paper towels Trash Bags 'Provided are pillows and blankets, not pillowcases' All can be provided for a fee but advanced notice is a must, minimum cost is $25 per bed, includes bedding(top and bottom sheet), 2 pillow cases, 2 towels, 2 wash cloths. 'Firewood is available for purchase on the property for outside fires' Outside there is a gas grill, charcoal grill and a fire pit. Bring Firewood, whenever possible, for outside camp fires or go to Bunnylane and buy. Outside there is a gas grill, charcoal grill, smoker and a fire pit. PLEASE, be respectful of all and leave clean. Please remind children to do the same, clean-up after any pets. THE DISHES ARE CLEAN AND PUT AWAY, AND THE COUNTERS LEFT CLEAN AS THE REST OF THE CABIN / Little DOME' FLOORS ARE CLEAN AND ALL RUGS HAVE BEEN SHAKEN OUT AND PUT BACK AS FOUND. If the floor is wood then sweep, there are brooms and dust pans for you to use.' also a mop and mop bucket. If the previous guest left anything wrong please inform me ASAP so I can stop them from getting their deposit back according to what they did. Thanks ALL GARBAGE HAULED OFF, IF DUMPSTER AVAILABLE THEN PUT IN IT. There is a dumpster at Bunnylane Cabins approx. 1/2 mile away beside Wrights Lake, where Jeff lives. Leave your trash at that dumpster. Thank You Jeff DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH IN BUILDING OR OUTSIDE EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS, LIKE BEARS , BIRDS AND WIND. ANY ITEM NOT DONE WILL BE A $50.00 DEDUCTION FROM YOUR DEPOSIT or lose your deposit and for those that gave their word and not a deposit. COMMENTS ARE APPRECIATED. I CANNOT CONTROL EVERYTHING, AS I LEAVE THAT UP TO EACH OF MY GUESTS THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! IT IS NICE TO SHARE MY PLACE WITH OTHERS. About the neighbourhood
It is located 2 miles above Mt. Princeton hot springs and one fourth of a mile from Bunnylane Cabins which is 200 yards from Wrights lake, just off the Colorado trail . The view is of the Chalk Cliffs and looking up Chalk Creek. The nearest neighbor is almost out of sight which is 200 plus yards away. The dirt road to the dome is in great shape, county maintained and Chalk Creek is only a 5 minute walk. From the Dome you can get on your mountain bike and take the old railroad grade all the way to St. Elmo which is about 7 miles up the valley. The first part you will encounter a wilderness walk or bike trail then it turns to the main road to St, Elmo, take the wagon road , rougher but no dust and very peaceful and scenic.
