Plain, traditional, detached two-storey / three-bedroom house accommodating 4 persons on 75 m² living surface.
Situated at 640 meters altitude, on the Swiss/Italian border, between the south-western prealps and the lombard plain, close to lakes Maggiore and Ceresio. South-facing, sunny, great panoramic view, large terrace, garden.
Located on the southern slope of Mt Lema, among vines, camellias, persimmons, fig and palm trees, this house has sunshine all day. Silence reigns. All you can see are the wooded hills of northern Italy, the snowy peaks of the Valais Alps, a vineyard, a picturesque church and the sky. Car recommended (though not indipensable). Ideal for families, hikers, bikers and those seeking rest and tranquility.

Sat nav: Enter country=“Switzerland“, place= “6999 Astano”, street= ”RIAZZORA-VEZZAN 14”

Take the motorway A2/E 35 Basle-Chiasso and get off at exit #49 “Lugano Nord”.
Turn right towards “Varese/Ponte Tresa”.
After the place name sign for “Caslano” at the roundabout, turn right towards “Arosio / Novaggio / Astano”.
At the second village, Curio, turn left after the filling station.
At the place name sign “Astano” (parking lot), STOP FOLLOWING THE SAT NAV BUT LEAVE IT ON! Drive STRAIGHT into the village.
Turn right into the 3rd alleyway on the right and right again at "Osteria Elvezia". At the chapel keep left and follow the alleyway to house no. 12 (on the right, white, after a palm tree).
