Set within the Wiltshire Plains, there are an abundance of picturesque routes suitable for walking and riding winding through this verdant landscape. Whatever the weather you are sure to find much to keep you entertained with many attractions within easy reach including Avebury,Marlborough and the World Heritage sites of Stonehenge and Bath. A stone footpath leads you to the main entrance of this semi-detached former coaching inn. The door opens into a welcoming entrance hall, which has space to dine and a snug area, ideal for curling up with a good book. This charming room has character in abundance, including original beams and stripped wooden floors and furnished with fine antiques. Take time to admire the period details whilst you warm yourself beside the wood burner,or open fire,as the room is blessed with both. Leading on from here is a cosy lounge, which has a TV/DVD plus a second wood burner, the ideal place to relax after a day spent exploring. Heading back through the entrance hall you will find a spacious dining room which leads on to the compact kitchen. The contemporary kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob and dishwasher,a large adjoining pantry houses a fridge and microwave. Leading on from here is a utility area with washing machine, the ideal space for kicking off muddy boots after a long walk. A WC completes the ground floor. A staircase rises from the entrance hall to the first floor, where a large galleried landing awaits. Two steps lead up into the stylish bathroom, which has a shower over the bath and WC. Adjacent to here is a bright and airy bedroom, with a double bed and with an additional single bed (available on request). Just next door is a spacious King size bedroom.
