Warm cosy cottage and excellently equipped. The owners have thought of everything. Location is great- such a friendly village and with a pub and shop less than 5 minutes away. Lovely walks from the cottage. Our dog loved it!

These include High Pike and Carrock Fell - both of which can be viewed from the back of the cottage.

A market cross stands on the huge and pleasant swarth of the village green. The green is surrounded by neatly kept cottages, mainly dating from the eighteenth century. The timeless character of the village has been preserved as a conservation area where ponies, sheep, even ducks roam freely.
