An extra bed can be added to the family room if required.  Bathroom: Downstairs with bath and shower over and WC. Lounge: large space with original railway station features,open fire with original marble fireplace(first scuttle of coal included) and a large window giving a panoramic view of the Lake District hills, 42' TV with Freeview,DVD/ VCR and hi-fi. Kitchen: well-equipped,with electric oven and hob,fridge/freezer,washing machine, and microwave. Dining room: with original stone fireplace. Outside: large lawned garden with seating and BBQ. Part of the garden runs adjacent to the train line and is enclosed by a picket fence. Amenities: ample off-road parking for 3 cars on the gated private driveway. Bed linen,towels,electric,gas central heating,air conditioning and Wi-Fi included. 3 well-behaved dogs welcome. Location: shops 3 miles,pub/restaurant  200 yards. Lovely restored railway station, really warm although it was cold and wet outside no need to light coal fire. Nice pub in walking distance but take a torch or fulscent. Cottage well equipped, lovely views next to live railway line, ,my husband a railway nut...More
