The owners, Jim & Diane Phinney are full time residents of Anna Marina Island with a home in Holmes Beach - 4 miles North of Runaway Bay. We are very active owners who strive to make our guests feel welcome and comfortable as if at home. We work closely with the on site Runaway Bay Staff and provide quick and easy access for our guests any time it is needed.

Staying at Unit #285 at Runaway Bay was by far a much nicer choice than staying at one of the local resorts down the road where the rest of my family chose to stay. The unit was in a great location to both the North & South ends of the island for exploring. The beach was across the street and we spotted 4 turtle nests during our stay.There was also a free trolley (air-conditioned) stop right outside of the property which saved us from having to rent a car for the week. Othewise, it was an easy 10-15 minute walk to Bridge Street if you don't mind the sun & heat.

The owners provided the unit with all the essentials one could possibly ever think of needing (blender, toaster, coffee machine, tea kettle, hair dryer, washer & dryer, cookware, etc. ). The unit was absolutely immaculate, spacious and decorated in a beautiful beach theme. There was even a view of the bay from the master bedroom. On the morning of our second day there, the owners called to welcome us...
