Bedroom one has two windows that look out towards the estuary and a comfortable large double with Eygptian cotton bedding. Bedroom two has two twins and it has access to a raised outside area that is enclosed and private and looks out over the estuary once again. There is a back garden too with flowers and a bench. From here you can walk through the neighbours land to beautiful walks or along the foreshore for the same. There are two pubs, one 2 minutes walk away and one 20 minutes walk away. Parking is in the nearest pubs car park so if you have difficulty walking this may not be suitable for you as you have to walk over uneven ground for a couple of minutes. Shaldon beach is 10 minutes in the car one way with several cafes and a small zoo plus a smugglers tunnel that leads to a sandy cove backed by cliffs or Maidencombe is 10 minutes the other direction and has a pub in the village plus a cafe at the beach, lots of steps to get to the beach here.More

About the neighbourhood
Rural idyll. Peaceful. Ideal for relaxing, bird watching, fishing, walking holidays.
Getting around
Shaldon is a lovely village by the sea less than 10 minutes driveway. Recommend Clipper cafe for brunch on the waterfront. Teignmouth is a traditional British sea side town. Recommend The Crabshack, must pre book as gets very busy. Cary Arms is another favourite of mine in Babbacombe, look out for the seals down by the pontoon. Theres also a small theatre here where there are some good shows. Don't forget to go to Dartmoor. You can see Haytor from the cottage, If the sky over that way looks clear then go to Dartmoor and climb Haytor followed by lunch at The Rugglestone Inn.
