The Hacienda del Sol I is perfectly situated along New Smyrna's white sandy, car free beach. Located within walking distance to shopping and dining, guests are able to walk right across the street to the shopping center which features several restaurants, a grocery store, gift store, nail salon and a liquor store and bar. Less than a mile north is the 27th Avenue Beachfront Park which features a basketball courts, racquetball courts, a play ground and several picnic pavilions. Hacienda del Sol I is also 6 miles north of the Canaveral National Seashore, one of the finest seashore parks in the country, A 57,000-acre national park nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River, the Canaveral National Seashore is one of the longest stretches of pristine coastline in the United States. Many threatened and endangered species find refuge here, including sea turtles who nest on its shores. Within a short drive south is the Bethune Riverfront parking featuring a fishing pier, tennis and basketball courts, beach volleyball court and playground. JB's fish camp is also a short 4 mile drive south and offers some of the best fresh seafood in town. Kayak rentals and paddleboard tours are also available at JB's. The Hacienda del Sol I is also within minutes of the main shopping and dinding districts on 3rd Avenue, Canal Street and Flagler Avenue.
