The living room has an extra large, soft, comfy, leather swivel rocker-recliner, where you can alternate with a swivel from watching the pelicans dive for fish and dolphins frolicking, or watching a huge 50 inch Sony HDTV with a Blu-ray DVD, or just curling up and reading a book which soon turns into a nap while listening to the rhythm of the waves. The queen size leather sleeper sofa has a memory foam mattress. When it is time for the beach, grab a super-large plush beach towel, take the elevator to the ground floor, get a beach chair and umbrella from the rack and walk 62 feet on the boardwalk to the soft white sand covered with beautiful sea shells as far as the eye can see!. After a day of 'fun in the sun' at the beach, you'll look forward to a peaceful night's sleep, as the master suite has a king-sized bed with 'Consumers Reports' #1 rated 'Simmon's Beautyrest World Class Series' mattress. The master suite has large windows facing the Gulf allowing you to lay in bed while watching and listening to the waves rolling to shore and vacationers acquiring the 'Sanibel Stoop' while collecting sea shells. The master bedroom offers a sliding glass door to the screened porch. There is also an extra-large walk-in closet. Both master and guest suites have modern, clean, bright adjoining bathrooms complete with beautiful vanities with double sinks and granite counter tops and raised comfort-height toilets. Enjoy convenience, comfort, style and views. Also provided is a washer and dryer inside the condo. After a day at the beach, or beautiful heated pool, you can enjoy an evening game of tennis on the only lighted tennis courts on the island. Horseshoes and shuffleboard are also available. Many guests have been surprised by how quiet the pool area is, even during the peak season, probably because the complex is small with only 21 units. The pool area is a great place to swim, lounge or read a book and even has WiFi available.. This is a non-smoking apartment. The 3rd and top floor corner location of 301 provides fantastic direct Gulf Front views while listening to the relaxing sounds of the Gulf of Mexico, lightly breaking waves, seagulls, pelicans and gentle breezes. Watch the sunrise from the master bedroom, or be an early riser and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and watching the sunrise from your screened porch. FREE 'NETFLIX' movies and FREE 'PANDORA' Stereo, which enables you to select YOUR OWN type of music and artist, is provided. Also, take advantage of the FREE WiFi. 32 inch Flat screen TV's and Blu-Ray DVD are available in the master and guest bedrooms. For guests bringing babies or toddlers, use of a baby crib, Grayco Pack N Play and a Grayco Duo Diner LX Highchair, are available WITHOUT CHARGE. Use of my Grandchildren' HUGE cart of beach toys is only available to the Pelicans Roost 301 guest children WITHOUT CHARGE. The apartment is handicap accessible providing raised comfort height toilets and a beautiful tiled walk-in shower in the master bathroom. A walker is available if needed. Toiletries, laundry soap and dishwasher soap are provided. Golf is nearby with a public course, 'Beachview' and 'Shellpoint,' right off the island. On the island there are 15 miles of bike paths with bicycle rental available nearby and bike racks under the building. There are deep sea fishing charters available at the nearby Sanibel Marina. THERE IS A FULL TIME MANAGER AND MAINTENANCE PERSON ON THE PREMISES. Conveniently located at 605 Donax Street, Pelicans Roost is located just five minutes from the causeway and within walking distance of the Sanibel Lighthouse, dining, shopping, deep sea fishing, kayaking, jet skis, and world-famous shelling. Highly responsive, friendly, on-site management will ensure your needs are met in a timely fashion and with a smile. Pelicans Roost is a small private complex with only 21 units, and sits on 3.5 beautifully landscaped acres. Sanibel Island takes you back in time to the 1950's with no traffic signals and no fast food restaurants. The tallest building is not any taller than the three stories, and two thirds of the island is a wildlife refuge.More

WHEN YOU ARRIVE, YOU WILL GO TO THE OFFICE TO RECEIVE THE KEYS TO YOUR APARTMENT. THERE IS A ROOM NEXT TO THE ELEVATOR THAT CONTAINS A GROCERY CART AND LUGGAGE CART.

For the most part it is very dated and needs painting and new carpet.There are Some upgrades in the bathrooms and kitchen. Need some decent user-friendly plates Bowls etc. beds comfortable which is big but bedding needs to be cleaner or replaced. Great view!!!More
