Much of the island has remained undeveloped and it is very flat--perfect for bikes or walking. The condo rental office is a 100-foot walk and is available from 9:30am to 4:30pm weekdays and Saturdays to answer any questions or help with any issues. Keys may be picked up there when you check in, or in a secure drop box outside the office.

About the neighbourhood
A 30-minute trip from the laid-back Southwest Florida International Airport near Fort Myers, on the east end of Sanibel Island. Sanibel Arms is special in that it has both Gulf of Mexico and canal frontage. The unit is on the Gulf of Mexico side of E. Gulf Drive, with a second-floor corner lanai that has a great Gulf view and tropical breezes.
How to get there
A 25-minute drive from RSW. After the causeway, continue straight though the 4-way stop sign on Sanibel to East Gulf Drive. Take a left and in a quarter mile 805 E. Gulf Drive will be on your right.
