Family Vacation & Engagement!
Everything was a complete dream at Magens Hideaway! My now fiance and I slept in the second floor bedroom facing the beautiful sunrise over the islands. The villa is broken into multiple buildings which makes the overall experience of staying here so incredible. The best part is that it's gated from the rest of the island (something safety concerned people like me value...) and its literally a 3 minute drive from Magens Bay.
We came with a lot of family on this trip (8 of us in total) and everyone was able to both have privacy when they wanted it, and there's plenty of space for us to be together too. When we arrived, everything was so elegantly laid out and clean, the pool was heated, and everyone was in awe of the views.
On one of the days the girls on the trip got massages at the villa while us guys went shopping. A cool place to hang out at Magens Hideaway is the outdoor seating area just outside of the kitchen. The view looks out at the islands during sunset and the breeze is absolutely amazing.
One last thing that I greatly appreciated was that the surrounding homes were blocked by beautiful vegetation.
I highly recommend staying here no matter the occasion. We have already decided to come back again and stay at Magens Hideaway. We honestly didn't want to leave!

Large beautiful home with amazing Caribbean feel
This was a perfect place for a large family gathering because the kitchen and common rooms including the patio are quite spacious. The main house has large windows that can be opened to enjoy the ocean breezes. The bedrooms are located in separate buildings so there is privacy if you want to be alone. The grounds are beautiful and naturally landscaped and there was even a family of parakeets flying around in the evenings. The house sits high on the point and the views on both sides are spectacular. Having a pool was a bonus because the teenagers were never bored. One of the reasons I chose Magens Hideaway is because I grew up on St. Thomas and it has elements of a true island home. The property manager, Michelle, was also very helpful.
Our stay at Magens Hideaway is one we will all remember for years to come!

Top Notch Villa with ALL the Special Touches
Magens Hideaway was just a wonderful vacation from the busy 'real' world. When we arrived at the airport, Michelle greeted us and escorted us to the beautiful villa. The roads are windy and they drive on the other side too; be ready! We were greeted by a VERY special guest, that I've been asked not to tell, so it can be a surprise for you too; but it was incredible! The house is amazing, very well laid out to accept large groups (we had 8), so that you can sneak off to one of the many patios for quiet, alone time while taking in the beautiful ocean views. I loved that they offered robes during the stay (we bought one, too) and soaps, shampoo and conditioners all in beautiful bottles in each shower; my hair was super shiny all week, even with the salty ocean. The Master bedroom even had an espresso machine for me and my husband, we started each morning with a cup and sat on our porch to watch the gorgeous sunrise. My husband does all the cooking and he was very happy with all the cookware and he especially loved the outdoor grill right off the kitchen. We kept the doors to the main house open throughout the day, because the winds were exquisite and oh so refreshing. My favorite place was on the big patio looking out to the British Virgin Islands, I found myself curled up on the couch everyday reading (and napping). It was the absolute most wonderful place to relax and unwind, we will be back next Fall!

The most beautifull Magen's Bay estate overlooking both Magens and BVI
The house is absolutely amazing with the traditional danish west indian architecture and phenomenal carribean artwork. The villa has three seperate buildings that are all connected by the landscaped gardens and pool. We were able to put the kids and our inlaws in the guest house which had four bedrooms and phenomenal views of Magens Bay. My wife and I stayed in the master villa which overlooks the pool and the British Virgin Islands. Then, the whole family entertained in the Great House which has the kitchen, dining room, living room, great deck and great porch. We truly felt and were treated like royalty. We will be back.

Peaceful Luxury Looking Over Magens Bay and British Virgin Islands
Our family arrived to this beautiful villa just in time to watch the sun set over Magens Bay, it was gorgeous. Magens Hideaway is perfect for spending time with large groups because we had plenty of room to gather together, but it is also spread out on the property, so we could enjoy time to ourselves. The Great House was wonderful with the four french doors opening onto two different porches. Our favorite place to sit and talk was on the patio overlooking BVI, with the warm breezes and comfortable couches, we spent many hours out there talking and napping. The pool was heated so the kids had a great time playing in the water and soaking up the sun. We stayed in the Master Suite and the sunrise from our bed was truly spectacular! We started each morning with complimentary espresso and the sunrise in a quiet bliss. The kitchen was well stocked with all kinds of gadgets for cooking. They have alot of nice surprises there; the robes and the postcards (with stamps), the espresso machine were all very nice touches, but they also left us a GPS to use that had restaurants and tourist things to do. While we were in a very quiet area, Magens Bay Beach was only a five minute drive down the road and we found a little convenience store nearby with great sandwiches. We really enjoyed our time at Magens Hideaway and will return again.
