Mynachlogddu, Pembrokeshire, Wales
This beautifully converted farm building is full of quirky features and charm with thick curvy stone walls and beams. It has been lovingly restored by local craftsmen inspired by the architectural ideas of Rudolf Steiner.

Downstairs is open plan with oak flooring. The kitchen has a Rayburn for Winter use, a gas hob and electric oven and fitted kitchen. There is a pine dining area and the living room has two settees and a wood burning stove.

It has a double bedroom, a twin bedded galleried bedroom and a single sleeping loft. Please note that the single sleeping loft is through an archway from the galleried bedroom + that it is not possible to stand in it...it is very popular with children.

The whole building is quite open plan and different and quirky! Outside there is a small pond to the front (mostly fenced) and table chairs and b...

The most wonderful time , recharging at the cowshed. Get away from it all! Total tranquility and bliss to be experienced in this location - lose yourself in the hills, amazing views from bedroom window , I could stay and never leave this place ! Don't miss it!

I was absolutely bowled over when i arrived at the cowshed. The pictures shown absolutely do not do it justice at all. This quaint, cosy little piece of heaven is what dreams are made of. Anna was an amazing host and made sure that the fire was on prior to our arrival, and that she was there to greet us....

Additional amenities & feature info
The heating is by storage heaters + woodstove for most of the year. Optional multi fuel rayburn. Electricity is on a £1pound and 50p coin meter at cost price...The first basket of logs is included in the price after which logs are £5 per basket.

Please note that old stone buildings do take quite a lot of heating in the Winter...we have many ways of heating - electric heaters and storage heaters plus woodstove and rayburn. The majority of people love this but it is not the same as a Central heating system.

About the neighbourhood
Superb location...just walk out of the gardens and you are on the moors with sheep and wild ponies! Walk in one direction for 5 minutes and you get to Gors Fawr ancient stone circle or in the other direction for 20 minutes and you are at the bottom of the Preseli Mountains...the ridge is known as the 'Golden Road' and ancient trade route...

Hear the skylarks and watch birds of prey circling the skies...this is wild and magical land...

We also have a fire pit out on the moor...you can go and gather wood and have a fire as the sun goes down!

Our closest beaches are 12 miles from here Poppit Sands and Newport being the closest...Pembrokeshire has an abundance of beautiful beaches and the coastal path is truly stunning...
