Stayed at Lowbarn for over a month whilst the building of our own new house was finished. Lowbarn is excellent value for money, cosy, modern and tastefully decorated. The Low Barn was really cosy, relaxing, quiet and beautifully furnished. We stayed a whole week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Very relaxed area with plenty to see if you travel to surrounding areas. We really enjoyed the kinema in the woods a must to do if you stay here. The Low Barn is accessed from the private car parking area, via a gate into the large courtyard garden. Immediately outside the cottage stands a small wooden terrace with a table and two chairs, perfect for that intimate breakfast on sunny mornings. Guests are welcome to enjoy the large courtyard itself.<BR>Retaining all of its original character with its beams and feature brick wall, the main room consists of a living and kitchen/dining area. The living area has a comfortable corner sofa, flat screen 32" tv/dvd player with HTMI and USB ports and a gas fuelled real-flame stove. The sofa also converts to a double bed.
