At Ducksfoot Farm we have two stunning holiday cottages both brimming with character in beautiful surroundings. Ducksfoot Barn is a fantastic weather boarded barn conversion whilst Garden Cottage (see separate ad - Ref 211516) was converted from old farm buildings. Both have a wealth of exposed beams and original features and are exceptionally pretty. In a separate building close by is Garden Cottage which sleeps 2 in a double bed. If you are holidaying with grandparents or another couple who want their own space then our two properties are perfect and give everybody the flexibility and privacy that they need. You can come together to eat and socialise in the Barn or Barbeque in the Patio Garden - there is plenty of room for everyone. If you are looking for peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings then look no further. However, if you want to step up the pace of life after a few days there is a huge range of things to do and see in the area; history, art, family activity, beaches and retail therapy are all a short drive away. We live on-site and so are always on hand to help with any queries you might have.More

Ducksfoot Barn is equally suitable for couples or a family; one bedroom has a King Size bed, whilst the other can either be set-up as a pair of Twin beds or a Super-King bed. One of the sofa's in the lounge is a double sofa bed, ideal for one person but a bit of a squeeze for two. If further accommodation is required, our Garden Cottage, which is in a separate building but adjacent to the Barn, sleeps two in a Double bed. Ducksfoot Barn has a spacious fully equipped kitchen, with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. A separate utility room houses the washer/dryer, store cupboards, a shower and a wc, plus plenty of room for coats and boots. There's plenty of room for everyone in the large open-plan living area (30’8 x 18’4) with dining and lounge seating for 6 which boasts a wealth of exposed beams, underfloor heating, an integral sound system, TV and DVD player. Both bedrooms are en-suite. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are provided.

Beautiful property with all the amenities needed set in a beautiful and wonderful setting. All that was needed for a wonderful weekend and so peaceful that I slept like a log every night. Highly recommend this getaway location in the heart of the county side.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside and hosted by a lovely family, coupled with tranquility and peace. This tastefully converted barn was above and beyond expectation and was situated perfectly for either a rural escape or some retail therapy! We will definitely become regular guests.
