The apartment is part of the main house which we live in. Bedroom one has an ensuite bathroom with overbath shower, bedroom 2 has an ensuite bathroom with shower. The kitchen/diner is large with solid fuel range, and there is also a cosy lounge with small wood burner. Prices include oil fired central heating for two hours in the morning. Prices include electricity and gas. About the neighbourhood
Killarney has a Summer Festival each summer. The Rose of Tralee Festival is also a popular event. Killorglin's Puck Fair is in August and a popular attraction. There are many eating places in the area especially Killarney where there is a good variety and some places have traditional music in the evenings.There is an aquadome in Tralee which is great fun for all the family. Farranfore has one bar which serves food. There is also a take away. The village post office is also a pharmacy. There is also a small supermarket which also sells take away food and has a bank machine. We have our own health care centre in the village.
How to get there
You can fly into Kerry, Cork or Shannon airports. We are only 5 minutes from Kerry airport and cars can be hired from there. The other airports have facilities for car hire and buses are also available from them. Ryan air and Aer lingus fly into these airports from the UK. If travelling by car you can get a ferry with either Stena Line or Irish Ferries from Fishguard, Pembroke Dock or Holyhead, they arrive at Rosslare, Dublin Port or Dun Laoghaire
