Auberge Thon Jaune - Yellow Tuna is a Canada Select 5 star luxury accommodation. Both King Bedroom Suite, and the Queen Bedroom Suite, and large deck with jacuzzi and sauna are overlooking the tidal ebb and flow of tranquil Chebeck Bay. There is a cozy living room with propane fireplace, a dining room overlooking the water, and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as an additional half bathroom. Rental includes use of kitchen. The Queen suite is wheelchair friendly, and doors on the ground level are wheelchair accessible. Auberge Thon Jaune - Yellow Tuna is located in the only UNESCO Starlight Tourist certified destination of North America, with a public Starlight viewing platform (wheelchair accessible) on Wedgeport Nature Trail. This Nature Trail with benches and picnic areas along the shoreline is 5,4 km long (hikes on shorter loops are possible as well). It is also an ideal location for guests planning to experience an evening at Deep Sky Eye Observatory with local astronomer Tim Doucette. Wedgeport is also famous for Tuna sports fishing, the beautiful Tusket Islands with their shanties, and lobster fishing. It is also a perfect place to explore Acadian and Canadian roots, close to the Archive in Tusket, and the Historical Acadian Village of Nova Scotia.
