Region: Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways â East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.
Town: Home to a good local shop, a lovely village pub and a beautiful church dating back to the 15th Century, Felsham is a charming example of an East Anglian village. The surrounding settlements offer a further insight into the region's past and boast a wide selection of architectural styles. Properties of note include Ickworth House, built by the eccentric 4th Earl of Bristol, and Melford Hall, a turreted Tudor mansion once visited by Elizabeth I. Lavenham is also close by and is a pretty, medieval town which offers a number of stunning Tudor buildings and a local history museum. Bury St. Edmunds is also worth visiting and is host to a good range of pubs and restaurants as well as a choice of museums, parks and a stunning Cathedral.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, old thatched cottage.
It was a quiet retreat, ideal to recharge your batteries.
The grounds were pretty and private full of birdlife, such as water rail in the pond and spotted flycatchers in the garden.
we would like to stay here again.

Amazing Fait Cottage!
What a beautifull cottage! Everything you need is in the cottage. And what a warm welcome, fruit, wine, candies, bread, wood and much more. The cottage is very clean. Toys,puzlles, books and so much more! Faith cottage is a real cottage, to come in and be relax. And there are nice towns, gardens nearby. The sea within 1 hour go.
Come in! Make a booking! let you suprise how beautiful Suffolk is! And enjouy your stay in this Cottage! Carol is very helpfull and friendly!
Wat een prachtige cottage. Deze cottage heeft alles wat u maar wenst! De keuken is zeer uitgebreid. Volop spellen voor binnen en buiten. De cottage zelf is prachtig ingericht! En het ligt heel rustig verscholen tussen de landerijen. Wilt u Engeland ontdekken en niet zo ver rijden? Dan is dit uw kans. Binnen een uur vanaf Harwich. Er liggen pittoreske stadjes, prachtige tuinen, veel public foothpaths dichtbij dit heerlijk plekje. Binnen en buiten het is allemaal heel mooi. Hier komt u echt tot rust! Ook de zee is binnen een uur aan te rijden. Kom, maak snel een boeking en laat u verrassen hoe mooi Suffolk is. Carol is heel behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk!

The PERFECT cottage in utterly beautiful countryside
DO NOT HESITATE. Carol and Colin have the perfect cottage. On our THIRD visit to Faith Cottage we enjoyed log fires, lazy days just enjoying being in a supremely comfortable chocolate box of a dwelling with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Kitchen has every possible convenience you could ever need, multiple books and games for lazy days and plenty of footpaths to explore on foot or, like us, on bikes that were kept in a secure space. The bed is just about the most comfortable we ever slept in and EVERY CORNER of the cottage was SPOTLESSLY clean. On arrival we were greeted with a Welcome Pack of wine, bread, fruit, cake, milk etc and, although the nearest large Supermarket is a drive away, we never felt the need to visit, preferring to use the nearby Community Shop in Felsham (I went in for bread, eggs and (more) wine and had a delightful conversation about Clarissa Dixon-Wright - who would have thought). Local Pub (The Six Bells) serves real ale and food and was very friendly and nearby Woolpit also has a great pub with a small Co-Op and delightful gift shop. BE AWARE, Sykes Holliday Cottages DO NOT have Faith Cottage on their books, they just have not removed it from their website. CONTACT Carol and Colin direct. PLEASE give this delightful couple your custom; they truly deserve it after having worked so hard to create a little bit of paradise in the Suffolk countryside.

perfect stay
We arrived for a Xmas stay at this amazing cottage , we were warmly greeted by Colin and Carol . The cottage was beautifully decorated ,warm and cosy . It was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. A generous welcome pack also . The perfect place for peace and quiet yet close enough to surrounding villages and larger towns . This was the second time we have stayed and we have booked again as it is one of the best cottages we have come across . The owners are nearby if ever needed and are very obliging

Amazing
We stayed at faith cottage for a couple of days in the week. Coming from such a busy town and lots a noise to complete silence and peace.
We booked by contracting directly on 01449 737696 as they are no longer with a booking agent.
We loved our stay at faith cottage and we will be back!!!

A Haven of Peace and Tranquility
We arrived here in great need of escaping the outside world for a while and that’s just what we did. Carol met us in her usual warm friendly helpful way and made sure we had everything we needed. As usual there was milk, butter, bread, cake, wine, chocolates and a good supply of dishwasher tablets, detergent etc. Faith Cottage does indeed have everything we need, it is very well equipped, nothing is missed, and it is clean and comfortable. Above all there is an atmosphere of complete peace, quiet and happiness and we left ten days later feeling much more relaxed and contented. Carol and Colin make sure you want for nothing during your stay keeping a discreet but welcome presence. Faith Cottage is not a Sykes Cottage, don’t be misled, book directly with Carol and Colin through their web site.

Wonderful
This was our fifth time of staying at the Cottage. For our family this has become an oasis. Everything is immaculate and very well presented, the owners are lovely people whose welcome makes you feel at home.
We love the large Kitchen and the two fireplaces. The grounds are set back from the road so your see plenty of wildlife. In fact we love everything about Faith Cottage.
Plenty to do locally or just long walks, great if you want to escape from the busyness of life and the world around you. We have many memories here, we have spent one Christmas here two summers and Spring and Autumn. Faith Cottage is a place for all seasons.

Amazing
Simply one of the best and favourite places we have stayed in the UK, wonderfully located to get away from it all. Beautifully maintained and appointed (I could have spent all day in the amazing kitchen rustling up dishes!).
We loved the cosiness, the perfect touches absolutely everywhere and felt immediately at home here. Very comfy bed too.
On a very cold and dreary weekend we felt warm and cosy at all times.
Will definitely be returning at a time of year to enjoy the wonderful garden.

Perfect in every way ...
This Chocolate Box cottage is as lovely as the photo. Cosy, yet spacious rooms with tasteful decor, very comfy beds and large kitchen with every utensil you would ever need. Very large gardens with trees and lovely countryside views. Well placed for Bury St Edmunds, which is a very nice town just a few miles away with good shops and a very interesting Abbey and grounds. Close to lovely Suffolk villages like historic Lavenham and Constable country of Dedham and Flatford. You will not be disappointed with Faith Cottage - a perfect place for a peaceful and very interesting holiday. The owners have worked very hard to get it to this standard, all credit to them. Great place to stay!
