We custom built this 3 bedroom/2 bath traditional open-floor plan villa over the last ten years, combining all the best elements of Indonesian and French style, including a swimming pool, gazebo, and garden. Only ten minutes from Yogyakarta, it's surrounded by beautiful forests and rice fields in a quiet village neighborhood. Building this house was a true labor of love, and we thought carefully about every detail, trying to make it the sort of space we'd want to stay in if we were visiting Yogyakarta. You can strike out into the country and experience a taste of traditional Indonesia, and you'll be a 5 minute walk from the village of Kasongan and its traditional pottery production. But you're just a ten-minute drive from Yogyakarta as well! More
