The boathouse is such a peaceful, beautiful spot but not at all far from great restaurants and attractions. We only wish we'd had more time there.

Our friends were getting married at Dundas Castle, so we booked a one night stay in the Boathouse. It is cute and compact, but has everything you need. Its a 10 minute drive up to the Castle, but the Castle staff were nice enough to give us a ride back after the wedding. The Boathouse was quiet and secluded and...

Stayed here for one night and the setting directly on the loch is beautiful with stunning scenery out of every window and nature displaying its best at every turn... Swallows, Herons, Swan family.. The Boathouse is a one roomed cottage with a canaped double bed and relaxing seating area. There are options to dine with in the main room or on the balcony. <BR><BR>The kitchenette comes complete with all cooking utensils, crockery and cleaning products. There are soft drinks in the fridge and complementary whisky and gin.<BR><BR>The shower room has a over sized shower and offers Penhaligons toiletries. All luxury towels and bath robes are included.

Railway: Waverly Station in city (or Dalmeny Station is loc: 19.0 km
Ferry: Granton: 13.0 km
Dundas Castle is located only 25minutes in a car or taxi from the centre of Edinburgh. Edinburgh International Airport is only 15minutes drive from the Boathouse and taxis can be booked from the Airport or phoned from the Boathouse. Waverly or Haymarket train stations within the centre of Edinburgh provide rail links throughout the UK and Delmeny is the local train station that is only 5 minutes away.<BR><BR>Guests should enter by the main gates of the estate leading from the B800 which runs between South Queensferry and Kirkliston.
