About the neighbourhood
There are plenty of places to visit and lots of lovely family pubs. Local interests are highcliffe castle with its lovely grounds and tea rooms. Mollys den, if you like antiques! The Amberwood pub in Walkford offers very good evening food. The new forest is about a 10 minute drive, great for walks and cycling with lots of well defined cycle paths including an old railway track which join up the smaller villages of burley, bealieu and brockenhurst. You can walk to the sea from Chewton Glen Lodge, highcliffe is about a 25 minute walk and the cliff hanger is worth a visit with views of the Needles. Lymington is about a 20 min drive.
