Welcome to the Captain Otis Nickerson Home. Pet Friendly! Enjoy this lovingly restored Traditional Cape Cod Vacation Rental home in Harwich. It has all the nooks and crannies and fireplaces of a home circa 1850 but has been updated with all modern amenities including updated kitchen, Central AC on 1st floor along with AC unit on 2nd floor to keep you cool, Front loading washer/dryer, and free WiFi. Through the dining room is the main living room with comfy seating and a Flat Screen TV. This main floor has a full bath with tub/shower. Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms - as with older homes the stairs have steeper risers and the bedrooms are continuous. All bedrooms are connected by a doorway so that you will walk from the Master Bedroom with Queen Bed into Bedroom #2 with a Double Bed and then to Bedroom #3 with 2 Twin Beds. There is a full bath on this floor with a claw foot Bath/Shower. The backyard is fully landscaped with gardens and an enclosed outdoor shower. There is also a hammock to relax in and a Fire pit to sit by in the evening and enjoy roasting marshmallow! **This home comes with a 'Back to Basics Bag' all with compliments from the owner! A large reusable tote comes with: 2 rolls of toilet paper, tissues, hand soap, sponge, 2 trash bags, dish soap, dish washing detergent, hand sanitizer, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent (for guests with a 1 week minimum stay). No Smoking. Dogs Only Please! Max parking of cars at property: 3. No parking on Lawn anytime. This home allows 1 dog. A Pet Registration form must be completed upon reservation confirmation. This home has Keyless Entry with a 3pm Check-In/10am Check-Out. Additional Information to Assist You: During peak summer season (from end of June to first week in September) a 7 night Saturday - Saturday rental reservation is required. Some instances you may be able to book an off season (Fall and Spring only) 3 night stay. You must be 25+ years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian to book one of our Vacation Rental Homes. An ID must be furnished upon request. A confirmed reservation is non refundable--please consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance. Ask our guest specialist for more details. Linens such as bed sheets, bath towels and bath mats can be rented at time of booking or at a later date through our linen/concierge services. Please ask our guest specialist for details. We do not charge a departure cleaning fee. Simply follow our basic check out instructions carefully and there will be no extra charges. If you prefer for our cleaners to take care of the basic check out list, this can be arranged for a fee of $100-$300+ (depending on the condition and size of the home) that can be billed to your credit card for your convenience. Close to the beach and Harwichport. House had a lot of atmosphere but especially enjoyed the large backyard and firepit area. Got a workout from the steps! Historic cemetery across the street was interesting. Only real negative was the sparse WiFi connection.More
