Our Beautiful Grade II Listed 1 Rose Cottage is situated in the Historic Village of Lelant, St Ives and an Ideal retreat for small families & couples. Guests will be greeted with a welcome pack on arrival and for our doggie guests a welcome treat. Having recently been renovated, the cottage has a quaint traditional feel to it, from the quirky kitchen to the cosy lounge. Rose Cottage is just minutes’ walk away from the Hayle Estuary a renowned RSPB nature reserve and offers great accessibility to St Ives town centre and a multitude of surrounding golden sandy beaches, including Carbis Bay, Porthminster Beach & Porthmeor Beach. Porth Kidney Beach is just a 10 minute walk from the cottage, at the mouth of the Hayle Estuary. For those with little doggy guests, in our opinion this is the best dog friendly beach in St Ives throughout the year. The popular West Cornwall Golf Club with its stunning views of St Ives Bay & Godrevy Lighthouse, is a quarter of a mile away. For walkers we are on the South West Coastal path which can be followed from the cottage across the golf course and via the sand dunes and cliffs to Carbis Bay and St Ives. The nearby branch trainline gets you into St Ives in just 10 minutes, stopping at the doorstep of the fabulous Porthminster Beach and offering some breathtaking coastal views along the way. Historic St Ives is renowned for its cosmopolitan mix of restaurants and cafes, art galleries, beaches and scenery and whether you are simply looking for a week on one of the many beaches or an energetic mix of surfing, golf, walking or diving there is something here for you. Lelant itself offers several eating establishments all within walking distance of Rose Cottage, all offering a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. More

Lovely little cottage in Lelant, extremely clean and comfortable home from home stay. Close to St Ives lovely walks and train station close by. Ideal base to explore Cornwall. The Badgers Inn pub in walking distance is a must for a calvery. Owner very easy...More

Gorgeous little cottage, nicely furnished, very comfortable, well stocked kitchen e.g. crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils. Very clean.Love it.

I’ve stayed here a few times now and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.. The location is perfect, you have a parking space (a rarity in some parts) so you can unpack the car and just leave it whilst you use the Local transport if you...More

The cottage is just off a busy main road - not too much of a problem in February, and has a small, but adequate parking plot. Downstairs there is a kitchen and sitting room. Both have very low ceilings which are mentioned in the particulars...More
