Here we have two four star holiday cottages (Ivy & Oak) with countryside views,outside flat lawned garden with picnic benches and situated close to the Gower peninsular. A cycle track and bridle path passes through the village of Dunvant which leads directly to the wonderful area of Mumbles and the picturesque expanses of the Gower beaches ideal for water activities.
There are several golf courses in the area.
The cottages sleep up to four people easily, and are comfortably furnished for a family, however they will also suit a party of two as you will find a lovely spacious yet cosy place to stay .Well equipped 4 star (Visit Wales) graded accommodation, with two bedrooms and shower room, downstairs cloakroom /toilet, open planned living area and fully fitted kitchen.

Lovely cottage, lovely people
Couldn't recommend more highly. We stayed in Ivy cottage. It is comfortable, well equipped and has great views. The little back garden has a picnic bench where you can sit and enjoy the view over the gorsefield and beyond. Ian and Ruth are really friendly and helpful, and as they live next door and work the stables they are around every day.
There is lots to do and see nearby. We would be happy to stay again, and would recommend to anybody.

A lovely cottage in a great rural location in Gower
The cottage has great views of the Gower countryside with horses from the adjacent stables in the field outside the picture window! The cottage is a short picturesque drive to several classic Gower beaches such as Rhossili or Oxwich bay and also a short drive to the Mumbles with lots of lovely cafes, restaurants and shops and a long promenade for great walks! Swansea and the valleys of south Wales are also very accessible if you want to explore but we didn’t have time!
The cottage is the best equipped I have ever stayed in and the owners live next door so are on hand and very friendly!

Oak Cottage
Lovely, well equipped accommodation in a peaceful setting. Good base for exploring the Gower by car. We would certainly stay here again.

Lovely location and little gem!
Stayed for a couple of nights with the family, so 2 adults and 2 kids. Ruth and Ian were so welcoming and apologetic over changes they have had to make due to Covid ie no fruit, guest info and wine! However they are forgiven and especially on latter! The accommodation is 5 star, great location, views were amazing and so was watching the horses and chickens. Bedding and bedrooms were spacious and extremely comfortable plus shower was hot and powerful. Great location to explore the area, will be staying again!

Excellent accommodation
Stayed here Monday to Friday August bank holiday. Oak Cottage was immaculate. Great location especially if you like horses! Great views, very quiet. There are places to eat within walking distance and it’s a great base for exploring. Whilst here, we visited the mumbles and three cliffs bay. Would return.

Long weekend stay, Dunvant
We stayed in Oak Cottage over the bank holiday weekend and used it as a base to explore the Gower Peninsula.
The house is in a great location, with a lovely outlook onto open fields, and a convenience store, pub and take away restaurants all within walking distance. Access to the main sights and beaches including Rhossili, Oxwich Bay and Llangennith was easy by car.
The house was immaculately presented, spotlessly clean and stocked with all the basics. It had more than enough space for four of us and was of a high standard. I would definitely recommend a stay in Oak Cottage.

Lovely rural setting but not far to city centre
Oak cottage was a lovely cottage with all the amenities you could think of needing! (Very well equipped and the cottage has been done up very nicely) Located next to stables, we had horses in the field next to us. Easy to get taxis or a bus to Swansea city centre or to the Mumbles. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay Ruth.

A home from home
Fantastic modern accommodation, finished to the highest standard, absolutely immaculate. Guests needs are well catered for!! Ian and Ruth are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts that you could wish for. We would definitely book again and would highly recommend it !!

Perfect
Oak Cottage was perfect, it felt like being at home. Loved our room being able to look up at the stars through the sky lights. The view from the living area was amazing. Close to loads of things to see. Definitely recommend this lovely cottage.
