Ground floor:Large sitting room, triple aspect, large fireplace with a wood-burning stove. Exposed stone with original alcoves and beamed ceiling. Large kitchen, also triple aspect with a quarry tiled floor. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a large farmhouse table. From the dining area there are double doors to the patio and garden. There is ample garden furniture for barbecues. The cloakroom has a washbasin, WC and a full size automatic washing machine. First Floor: There is a wooden staircase to the first floor with three bedrooms and bathroom leading off. The master bedroom has a double bed, and luxury en suite with large shower and WC. There are large floor standing fans in two of the bedrooms to keep you cool when the temperature stays high through the night. Facilities: Gas oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge with freezing compartment, English satellite TV (free channels only), telephone, parking for about 3 cars, barbecue, garden furniture, 4 sun beds. Swimming pool - 10m x 5m, with paving and patio area around pool. There is WiFi internet throughout the house and a large part of the garden. This is an ancient property and has low doorways and low beams, which require care, especially for those who are taller than average.

Gorgeous location surrounded by beautiful, rolling countryside. Perfect for cycling (bikes and locks provided) and walking. Interesting, furnished chateau in Bourdeilles with great views of the river. Swimming pool a real bonus. Accommodation first rate - clean, well equipped, with good showers.
