Trois nuits passées dans ce gite, ceci pour un court séjour dans une région que nous connaissons déjà bien. Rien à reprocher sauf à être un esprit chagrin et pointilleux. La rénovation a été faite avec beaucoup de goût et la réussite est au rendez-vous. A priori, il ne manque rien. Le mois de Novembre n'est évidemment pas le mois idéal pour tester les aménagements extérieurs mais nul doute que ceux-ci doivent être très agréables avec la terrasse ombragée, la cabane pour enfants, le barbecue et bien sûr la piscine. A noter, pour ceux qui sont concernés, un grand terrain où un chien et des enfants peuvent évoluer librement. Le lieu est de plus idéal pour les visites touristiques de cette région, Martel, Rocamadour, Padirac,;;etc, pour ne citer que les plus classiques

Comfort. Hi spec. Peace. Town and facilities close by. Nature outside the door.
La Badounerie is an excellent place to stay. 2nd week in June 2017. Married couple 57 and 59 years. We didn't want to leave. With full amenities it is a real pleasure to be here and relax. Easy access to Martel. 6 minutes. No parking fees. Intermarche 1 minute out of Martel. The market is very good. Restaurants and Café are all top grade. Definitely get on Train du Vapour. Prepare for a very good presentation from Monsieur. The difference between UK and France is defined here where everyone will start a conversation with you, and assume that you are talking with them. So friendly. Here is a list of birds and butterflies seen during our stay at La Badounerie. I've never seen so many different species arriving within 10 metres of space. The birds of prey were of course further away. BIRDS Hoepoo Redstart. Male and Female. Nesting in the roof buy the drain pipe. Melodious Warbler. Pairs in the trees over the decking. Robin, Greenfinch, Chaffinch, Black Cap, Chiff Chaff, Buzzard, Black Kite, Booted Eagle, BUTTERFLIES Marbled White, Various Fritillaries, Humming Bird Hawk Moths. Many. Cleopatras, Swallow Tail. Plus countless other unidentified species. All seen on the Buddleia by the house. La Badounerie is highly recommended from all aspects. Thank you Yan.

Sauf en hiver.
J'ai hésité avant de mettre une appréciation moyenne. Le gite est très cosy, avec tout ce qu'il faut dedans et je dois reconnaître qu'on s'y sent très bien. Il est également pratique pour circuler dans la région, beaucoup moins pour se garer avec une grosse voiture quand on n'aime pas faire une marche arrière. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Mais, et c'est là le gros point négatif, en hiver il y fait très froid (surtout en bas car la chaleur monte). Aucune isolation, etc... L'électricité étant en supplément (pour plus de 10kw/h consommés par jour - ce qui est nettement insuffisant en période hivernale, même en faisant très attention) vous vous retrouvez avec des frais importants à payer en fin de séjour. Une mauvaise surprise donc. Gite à conseiller uniquement lorsque la météo est clémente.

A perfect spot
A delightful spot to relax and explore the region. Laurence and Yan were very welcoming. Gite had all we needed to enjoy our stay.

Vive les vacances à la Badounerie!!
Un vrai bonheur que ce séjour dans le gîte Badounette. Un accueil chaleureux et personnalisé. La déco est charmante, vraiment cosy, un joli mélange de charme de l'ancien avec tout le confort de la modernité. Les extérieurs sont très agréables : super vue de la terrasse, jolie cabane pour les enfants et coin piscine très bien aménagé. Un vrai coin de paradis idéal pour un couple d'amoureux ou une famille avec enfants. On espère bien pouvoir y retourner.

Super !!!
Le plus +++++++ la piscine. La location et les équipements étaient complètement conformes à la description faite dans l'annonce. Les boissons fraîches à l'arrivée, un plus appréciable et apprécié, surtout avec les températures élevées de cette année. Le coin barbecue et la terrasse voisine sont est très sympas. Une vue agréable sur le paysage de cette belle région. Le village à cinq minutes de la location est un plus non négligeable (croissants à portée de main).
