Holiday Rental House
This lovely home is RIGHT on Lake Michigan with a large front deck looking out toward St. Helena Island. The shallow, rocky shore is a big draw for shore birds. Eagles, herons, pipers, swans, cranes and a variety of ducks are common. Enjoy an attached garage, full kitchen, laundry, outdoor grill and fire pit. Direct TV is provided but not internet. Both bedrooms have lots of storage and full-size beds. Rental is weekly only during summer months with check in at 3pm Friday and out by 2pm Saturday. The cleaning fee is $100. Dogs are welcome for an additional $30.00 pet fee. Fee is waived if you agree to collect/clean-up pet hair and waste prior to departure. Though located just off US2, 8 miles west of St. Ignace, we are at the end of a long, black-top drive so away from traffic. ...This lovely home is RIGHT on Lake Michigan with a large front deck looking out toward St. Helena Island. Well water, so you may want to bring a jug of drinking water.More

About the neighbourhood
This is a very private location with no neighbors visible or even likely around. The long, black-top drive off highway 2 buffers any noise from cars. Sounds of nature will surround you! We are RIGHT on the Lake Michigan Shore, 8 miles west of St. Ignace, Michigan. Enjoy views of St. Helena Island and passing freighters. Relax on the full size deck and watch the sunset. This 2-bedroom home has a large living area as it originally had 3 bedroom. The shore is rocky but there are miles of sand beach and dunes a couple miles to the west. I have an info sheet on area attractions I can email. There is a lovely golf course in town and Kewadin Casino as well. The many area interests include Cut river Bridge, Taquamenon Falls, and Mackinac Island. The Soo Locks and Lake Superior are about an hour north. Thanks for you interest! Mary
How to get there
The address is W2151 Highway 2. It is the first black-top drive after the west end of Gros Cap Rd. I have more specific direction on the info sheet I can email.
