Location! Location! This home was built in 1923 with French Architecture influence. Lots of windows, French doors, front porch on a very quite culdesac with off street parking. The home has recently been completely refurbished to it's almost original construction. High ceilings, hardwood floors, fireplace and shaded by beautiful live oaks. This home is located 1/2 block from the beach, one block from the Beau Rivage Casino Hotel, one block from MGM stadium. There is also a farmers market two days per week one within one block. The streets in the area have a designated bicycle lane. I have owned the home since 1978 and have watched this remarkable structure survive many hurricanes including Katrina. About the neighbourhood
Restaurants, Beau Rivage, Hard Rock Cafe casino, Biloxi small Craft Harbor, Biloxi Lighthouse, Golden Nugget Casino, Margaret Rita Ville resort are all within 4 to 5 minutes from the cottage. Ship island ferry is less than 1 mile from the cottage, a great way to spend a day. The Golden Nugget Casino allows you to purchase passes to use the pool facilities, very reasonable and a 5* pool. Charter boats are located in the Biloxi Small craft Harbor
Getting around
There are two bicycles supplied and Biloxi has a good bicycle lanes. If additional bicycles are needed they are for rent less than a block from the Cottage. Traffic is no problem unless there is a festival such as Mardi Gras which the cottage is right in the middle of the parade routes. Cruising the coast is also a very poplar event.
