Only a 5 min drive away is the beautiful little village of Mijas, which nestles comfortably in the mountainside at 428 meters above sea level. 7km away you can enjoy all of the usual beach activities in Fuengirola. We recommend to maximize your sightseeing and shopping experience that you hire a car but if not there is a regular bus service between Mijas and Fuengirola just a short 5 min walk away. We are happy to accept Golfing groups and can help organise your golfing trip as we have a good knowledge of all the golf courses in the area. We are here to help. About the neighbourhood
There is so much to do in the area and so many places to visit. For the children and adults there are water parks, theme parks, zoos, dolphin shows, tree top adventure and many parks and of course beaches. There are now water parks in the sea, boats to hire and many different types of water sports. If sightseeing is your thing then below I have picked three of my favourites but there are many more. Malaga City (29km drive) is dubbed the Capital of the Costa del Sol. Once considered the poor cousin of Andalusia's capital city, Seville, it now competes successfully for attention, thanks to its profusion of quirky museums and it's delightful pedestrianised centre. The Picasso museum is a must see. Muelle Uno is the latest addition, a contemporary leisure complex in the port where you can sh...
Getting around
We recommend that you hire a car to make the most of sight seeing and for convenience for shopping etc. However we do have a bus stop at the end of our road that has a regular bus service to both Mijas Pueblo and Fuengirola. Fuengirola has a train station that has a service to Benalmadena, Plaza Mayor, Airport and Malaga Central and a few more stops in-between. We also have a reliable taxi service in Mijas Pueblo who knows where we are. Therefore if you don't want to drive then there are plenty of transport options.
