Villa
This is a main house and a casita on a hill in the beautiful lush jungle 1.5 miles south of Sayulita. It is a lovely, quiet spot, away from the town crowds. We have a quiet and beautiful beach a 7-10 minute walk from the house.
The main house is roomy and airy with a full living room, full kitchen with all the facilities. It has a lovely garden patio as well as a thirty foot deck with two comfortable daybeds overlooking the jungle, both incredible for bird watching. There is air conditioning only in the master bedroom. All other rooms have fans.
The casita is a one room affair with two double beds and a small deck with a table and chairs overlooking the jungle. It also has mini kitchen facilities such as a mini fridge, a microwave, a toaster and coffee maker. There is an overhead fan.

I stayed here a weekend with some friends, the house is incredible and so confortable.
The closest beach is really nice and alone.

Lovely rustic house in the jungle
We had a wonderful time at the jungle house.
There were two families so we rented both areas which worked out perfectly. The main house is a great space where we would all gather to eat meals both inside and outside. The kitchen was functional but I'd say, rustic, which was just part of the experience of cooking in the jungle! The beds were all comfortable and equipped with bug nets which were minimally necessary. It was mentioned by the owner, but still a pleasant surprise, that there were very few bugs considering you are in the middle of a jungle. The thing we enjoyed the most was the nearly private beach that is within easy walking distance and was amazing! There was great surf and we made great use of our boogie boards. We had two under the age of 7 and I would strongly recommend life preserves if you take them to the beach, the surf was BIG!
Couple of things worth mentioning to make your stay a little more enjoyable. The house is a little tough to find (there are no street signs in the jungle!) so be sure to read the given directions very carefully and if you can make the first trek in the daylight it will probably go smoother. Also if you have the ability to rent a car on your visit that can handle light off-roading you'll be better off for it. We ended up with two Toyota Yaris (all they had left where we rented) and we made it but, just barely. It is doable but you'll be happier in something bigger. Second the town of Sayulita is an easy walk from the house but it still takes 30 plus minutes and is a very dark walk after sunset. I'd recommend a stop at a grocery store before you get there to have as many of the basics as you can. There is no quick run (by car or foot) to the store once you get out there.
As I said we had a great time. We went into town several times during our stay and enjoyed Sayulita but also really enjoyed the quiet of getting away from the touristy town back to the jungle. We would all gladly go back to hang out in the jungle again!

Great Choice in Sayulita - away from the crowd!
Fantastic vacation - would go back in a minute. Near a basically private beach with no people while Sayulita was packed. Located in a Jungle at the top of a hill, it really is a special place. We were 7 and a enjoyed every minute. Would highly recommend this place!

TRANQUILO, PACIFICO ENCANTADOR
