We could have come to this house with just the clothes on our backs & been in great shape--the owners have thought of EVERYTHING! First of all, the house, furniture and decorations are charming and everything is spotless.
The kitchen was fully stocked, not just coffee and tea, but plates, silverware, pots, full coffee bar, etc. Thee were snacks, milk, juice, colas, bottled water, spices, cereal, bananas--over & above what was expected.
The dining room sat 6 and there was seating on the outside deck for 6 more. Sleeps 8 comfortably. 2 TV's, 2 bathrooms, both fully stocked with what you may have forgotten( shampoo, toothbrushes, razors, tampons, etc)
There was a laundry room also with detergent & dryer balls, a microwave and mini-fridge off the downstairs bedroom.
The outside deck with its party lights was a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee or an after dinner drink--it had a nice fan and even fly swatters. You could enjoy the sound of the cicadas or watch the chickens or Gracie the pony in the pasture.
The owners left a list of favorite local restaurants and things to do in the area.
The only problem we had was that 1/2 of us for some reason could not access the WiFi--that may have been good, in that it gave us more time to relax and enjoy this immaculate hospitable location. I would definitely come back if I returned to the area....it was SO much nicer than any hotel you could find.
