Waberthwaite enjoys a position amidst countryside and is situated close to beaches, coastal walks and conservation areas. The skyline is dominated by the peaks of Scafell, Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell and nearby the valleys of Eskdale and Dunnerdale provide scenery to be enjoyed. Local attractions include Muncaster Castle, a World Owl Centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway, all of which provide wonderful and varied days out.More
