Log cabin available with private access to premier fishing on the famous Big Hole River. In addition to fishing, Montana is a great place to hike, hunt, ski or snowmobile. Our family owned and operated log cabins are completed furnished.
The loft includes two full size bed to include a dresser.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and serving the catch of the day from the Big Hole River. Items in the kitchen include: stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, pots& pans, dishes, glasses and everything you would need to make and serve a meal for 6. A barbecue grill is located on the deck.
The living room includes a twin sleeper sofa, cable TV and has WiFi.You can view the beautiful Big Hole River from sitting in the living room.
The bathroom includes a comfortable size shower.

Best value in Montana
I have stayed at this wonderful cabin for the past 4 summers and enjoyed each visit. Walk outside to excellent fishing, sit on the porch and watch the eagles soar, listen to the rain on the metal roof. BBQ grill makes dinner a snap. Full kitchen with plenty of pots & pans for cooking. Comfortable beds to fall asleep listening to the elk bugling. I'm going back for a couple of weeks this summer. Dwana is a wonderful hostess and makes sure everything is perfect during your stay. Can't wait to get back there this summer.

Wise river cabin
Absolutely beautiful region of Montana. Log cabin on the river was very clean and comfortable. Great location. We truly enjoyed our stay!

About the neighbourhood
The Big Hole River Cabins are located about 40 miles southwest of the historic mining town of Butte, Montana. In traveling south on I-15, take the Divide/Wisdom Exit 102. This road is Montana Highway 43, and continue traveling west 10 miles.

How to get there
On MT Highway 43, right where the Wise River flows into the Big Hole sits the small mountain community of Wise River. The Wise River tumbles into the Big Hole from high in the Pioneer Mountains. The Wise River varies in size from a large stream to a very small river, and doesn't offer quite the same majestic floating opportunities as the Big Hole, but the willow-lined banks and the boulder-strewn bed make the river perfect for pocket fishing.
Wise River also forms the north end of the Pioneer Mountains Scenic Byway. This paved, 49 mile long road follows the Wise River to its source, and then follows Grasshopper Creek down the other side of the mountain. The Byway offers beautiful views of the rugged Pioneers and a number of turnouts with opportunities to explore more remote areas, like the ghost town of Coolidge and the silver mine of Elkhorn. In the winter months, try snowmobiling over the Byway instead.
