Bosvean House Bed & Breakfast can accommodate 6 people with 3 double rooms all with en suite’s, free onsite parking and Wifi. We have furnished the house with French and English vintage furniture personally designed to make guest feel comfortable. The rooms all have tea/coffee making facilities, welcome treats and toiletries.
Each Morning enjoy your free Cornish breakfast in the communal dinning room, we welcome guest to relax either in their rooms or take advantage of the communal lounge which has a stereo, TV & DVD Player. Guests can also enjoy the Bush Valley views from the large decking area or cosy summer house or take advantage of the surrounding gardens to enjoy a cup of tea at the end of a busy day.
Bosvean House also has an outside kitchen area with a gas BBQ that can either be used by guest for dining either lunch & diner or just a place to relax with a glass of wine.
In the grounds of Bosvean house sits a detached self contained cottage which is available all year round, it has a comfortable open plan kitchen, lounge with a bathroom just off of it. Upstairs is a large double bedroom. It has a small garden with views over the adjoining countryside and surrounded by an abundance of wildlife.
In the morning your wake-up call will be the sounds of the local birds and lambs calling. The views are stunning with the bedrooms looking out over open countryside its a walkers paradise with no better way to explore the area right on your doorstep.
A short walk along the bridleway with views of the Ocean, where the bed & Breakfast and cottage sit, takes you into the quaint town of Stratton where you will find the Tree Inn restaurant and bar, and the Kings arms pub for local dining and traditional Cornish and Devon ales. There is also an eclectic mix of restaurants and wine bars in Bude Town centres along with fantastic beaches which can be reached within a 5 minutes drive.

This has to be the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Charlie, Holly and Colin were amazing hosts, so friendly and inviting - you could not feel more at home. The room (we had the suite) was super comfy and very spacious. The breakfast was amazing and set you up for the whole day with a great varied selection. The covered outside space overlooking the Cornish views was a real bonus and made for relaxing social evenings with drinks. I could not be more grateful for the effort made so we could enjoy our break.

Lovely b&b with friendly hosts close to Bude with a countryside feel
We had a really lovely stay at Bosvean House with friendly hosts Charlie, Colin & Holly (and the chickens!). The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities that you could need. There was a nice touch of a bottle of wine and card for my birthday, as well as great breakfasts each morning - we trialed the full menu over the 5 nights we stayed and it was all tasty. The house is down a bridleway which was easy to find from the directions - it was a really peaceful location, with a cute garden lookout. It was a 5 minute drive to Bude, so close to the sea whilst being more in land. We would 100% come back and enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Stay
We Stayed at this fab B&B recently and loved every moment. Charlie, Colin & Holly were wonderful warm and friendly hosts who made our stay there so much more memorable. Nothing is too much trouble.
The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, made all the better with fresh eggs laid by the hens in the garden.
Lovely decking area looking out on the most stunning views, and a lovely touch of a fridge with wines and beer you can help yourself to - just replace what you drink.
We are already thinking about when we can go back thanks to our lovely hosts for making it such a great stay.

Wonderful stay
We had a lovely 3-night stay at Bosvean House. Everyone was extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We are really grateful that they went the extra mile to include vegan breakfast options for us. We look forward to coming back in the future!

Wonderful house that makes you want to move to Cornwall
A beautiful place to stay. The hosts are so warm and friendly, and take great care of you whilst allowing you privacy and freedom at the same time. The room was perfect with his and hers sinks, a double bath and a separate shower, and the whole house is so homely. A fantastic outhouse is available to chill next to wonderful rolling hills and wildlife. The breakfast is incredible and you will notice the difference in the fresh corn fed eggs from the hosts chickens. A really wonderful experience if you want a relaxing home from home break amongst nature, good people, and easy access to nearby bude. We would highly recommend it and go back.

Very comfortable cottage with all amenities thought of.
We stayed at Bosvean cottage for a week. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely touches in the cottage - bath robes, shower gel and shampoo etc. Kitchen fully equipped if you wanted to cook a full meal! Walkable to Stratton along the bridleway and would recommend The Tree for dinner. Outside decking at the Bosnian lovely to sit and have tea and cake and a glass of wine - beautiful views.

Wonderful staycation!
We visited Bosvean House at the end of June for two nights and Charlene and her family were extremely welcoming. Normally in a B&B, you are confined to your room unless you go out but this was completely different. They offer you a separate lounge to theirs with a tv, games, dvds etc, a dining room you can use to eat lunch and dinner aswell as a stunning summerhouse with a radio/Bluetooth speaker, rattan furniture outside to sit and watch the horses, wild rabbits, chickens and the beautiful sunset as well as a fridge outside with alcohol and glasses in which you can help yourself to free of charge, they just ask you to replace what you had before you leave! It is only a 10 minute drive away from town but you feel like you’re in the middle of no where as it is so quiet. Breakfast was lovely, all home cooked food with a selection of pastries, yoghurts, fresh fruit and cereal. The room was perfect with an en-suite, very clean, comfortable and homely. The hosts are just amazing, they make you feel so welcome and nothing is ever too much! We are a young couple in our early twenties and really enjoyed ourselves, it is a place for everyone. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent stay
We stayed in the cottage part with our dog, it was clean very nice decor and comfortable . We enjoyed our stay here and would recommended it . The views from the summerhouse balcony are stunning . Holly , Charlene and Colin the owners were very friendly and helpful. Hope to see you again next year

Excellent Stay
I loved my stay at Bosvean. The place is clean, tidy, tastefully decoarted and authentic. What you get is what you see. The pictures reflect what you will really find. Bude Town Center & Local Beaches is about 2.5 miles away. Bosvean House is ideally placed to explore towns and villages in both Cornwall and Devon. Approximately Half an hour along the Atlantic coast road will transport you to the legendary village of Tintagel, home to King Arthur, and to the picturesque harbours of Boscastle and Port Isaac, also the fictional village of Portwenn where they filmed the popular Doc Martin series. North of Bude you will find the wild beauty of Morwenstow , the unique historic village of Clovelly and the dramatic Hartland Peninsula with it’s diverse landscape & marine wild life. Larger towns, such as Launceston, Tavistock, Holsworthy, Bideford and Wadebridge are all within easy reach
