Lovely cosy cottage in quiet and quaint village. Very clean and everything superbly put together. Highly recommended.
Nice country walks ending at friendly pubs with good beer at either end of Wenhaston village. Highly recommend Queen’s Head in Bramfield for meal.
Flint cottage is a great base to explore Suffolk coast and Sutton Hoo.

Gorgeous cosy cottage for 2
My partner and I stayed in this beautiful cottage for 2 weeks in September. It was well equipped for staying in and central with easy close access to Southwold, Walberswick and all of the coast. Wenhaston has a fantastic pub serving real ale and good food....the Star Inn. It also has a well equipped shop within walking distance. I fell in love with the cottage which had a comfy reclining sofa to relax, a great kitchen with everything you would need and a good sized light dining room. The king sized bed was super comfy and the en-suite had a great shower with plenty of hot water.....we can’t wait to stay again. Costal and inland Suffolk is beautiful!

Lovely cosy cottage
We stayed in the cottage for 5 days and had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage is cosy and well equipped in a lovely village in walking distance of a great pub. ( The Star.) Walberswick and Southwold are 15 mins drive from the cottage.
The church across the road is definitely worth a visit to see The Wenhaston Doom-A leaflet all about it can be found in the cottage.
There was a bottle of Chardonnay waiting for us on arrival which was a lovely gesture and the bed was super comfy.
I haven’t given the cottage 5 stars for two reasons: There was only one toilet roll in the bathroom so we had to go and buy more and the plug hole in the sink in the bathroom was just that- a hole. Jewellery could quite easily fall down it.
That said it was lovely and very well situated and we had a superb stay.
Thank you

Lovely cosy cottage
Flint cottage is situated in a very friendly village. Very well equipped and comfortable. Pretty garden ideal for catching sun unto late afternoon. 2 very good pubs serving good food within walking distance. Very well positioned for visiting Southwold,Aldeburgh and Minsmere. Further afield we went to Flatford Mill and Lowestoft all worth a visit. It was our first visit to Suffolk and along with our stay at Flint cottage it did not disappoint. We would certainly visit again.

Cosy and quiet
A fabulous little cottage that had everything you could want or need. Warm, cosy and welcoming and just great for our two dogs as the garden leads onto a small copse, so perfect for a morning romp in the woods!
Would highly recommend.

A perfect cottage for 2. Impeccably clean, great location & perfectly situated for sightseeing.
A great location for exploring Suffolk. Southwold is our new favourite seaside town. Idyllic and traditional with no tackiness. A grown ups seaside. The cottage is perfection although the stairs are steep. Not great for older folk. Luckily we are both still in our forties. Ensure you use the recliner sofa - bliss!
